The Kenton Spin Doctor is a MIDI controller mainly designed to control vintage MIDI synthesizers or sequencers such as Ableton Live, Cubase ... or any other MIDI device ... The metal construction is of high quality. The Spin Doctor features 16 programmable potentiometers, a DATA ENTRY knob and two buttons, KEY and EDIT. On the Kenton site many MIDI profiles are available. The Spin Doctor is also compatible with the Kenton Control Freak Studio / Live PROFILES. There are many profiles to control vintage synths like Roland MKS-7, Roland JX-8P, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Waldorf Pulse, Korg Wavestation ... You can also easily create your own profiles for your own MIDI machines, using a PC or MAC editor available on the Kenton Website. We remind you that to control a synthesizer with the KENTON SPIN DOCTOR there is no need to go through a computer, the MIDI OUT of the CONTROL SPIN plugs directly into the MIDI IN of the device you want to control.
