The OSC Oscar is an duophonic Hybrid synthesizer (analog / digital), it was manufactured in England between 1982 and 1985. It is a very rare synth. Before going into technical specifications, I would say the Oscar is a true ''weapon'' for electronic music, the filter is one of the sharpest out there. Sequencer, arpeggiator, memory of sounds (12 slots), memory of sequences, programmable waveforms. Two oscillators, one can tune to each other, a sophisticated glide, an LFO who can modulate both the oscillators or the filter envelopes. VCA envelope and envelope for the filter. The filter can be a BPF, LPF, HPF, with tracking or not of the keyboard. This filter is simply superb and sharp as a sword.
The shape of Oscar is a little unusual, we love it or hate it. But the sound does not leave anyone indifferent.
