The Waldorf nw1 is a Eurorack format module, it is a sound source based on wavetable synthesis. To simplify it is like an oscillator except that the starting waveform is digital and from great variety. It is the same sound base as on the famous Waldorf Wave Vintage Synthesizer (one of the best digital synthesizer manufactured by Waldorf in 1993). Another interesting point: you can create your own wavetable from any sound source connected to the nw1 module.
