The Kawai K4 is a digital synthesizer made in Japan in 1989. The particularity of the K4 is that it has a digital filter, allowing to change radically the timbre of a sound. While the Kawai K4 offers many options and parameters, it's classic architecture (DCO-DCF-DCA ... instead of VCO-VCF-VCA ...) allow to easily create new sounds. The Kawai K4 has 16 channels, DCO, DCF, DCA, LFO, DCF MOD, DCA MOD, good sounding effects...A sound can consist of 4 independent layers, the 4 layers can be edited together or independently, which allows to create complex and moving sounds. The Kawai K4 is a very interesting digital synthesizer, it excels in the production of atmospheric pads, synthetic violins and strange sounds. There are many sounds that you can only create with a Kawai K4. The Kawai K4 has been and is used by artists like: Chemical Brothers, Venetian Snares ...
