The Novation BassStation Rack is an analog synthesizer made in England in 1995. This synthesizer was partly designed by Chris Huggett who was responsible for the E.D.P Wasp and OSC OSCAR synthesizers. As its name suggests, its specialty is bass; But bassStation is also comfortable on distorted and organ sounds. The BassStation can also mimic the Roland Tb-303 acid bass lines. The bassStation has two DCOs, an LFO, a 12 or 24dB analog filter, an analog envelope with Attack Decay Sustain Release, MIDI IN OUT THRU, filter input to filter your external instruments through the Bass Station filter. 40 presets and 60 memory slots to record your own presets. In addition to being an analog synthesizer that can produce beautiful bass it has CV / Gate input and output; It can be used as a MIDI to CV / GATE converter or CV / GATE to MIDI converter. so you can control a vintage synth with a sequencer or MIDI keyboard and you can control a MIDI synthesizer from a vintage synthesizer in CV / GATE.
