The Roland MC-303 is sequencer/synthesizer/drum machine made in Japan in 1996. Besides the MC-303 references, Roland give it the name "groovebox". Then the word "Groovebox" became a generic name to name the "all in one" machines able to produce and mix full electronic tracks that consist of beat, synth and bass. The Roland MC-303 includes many samples and sound generators. Including reproduction of TR-808, TR-909, TB-303, juno sounds... There are plenty to do! Some examples of functions: CUTOFF, RESONANCE, ARPEGGIATOR, ENVELOPE, MIDI IN OUT, a classic sequencer ... Apart from his "Groovebox" part, the Roland MC-303 is a very useful MIDI sequencer for LIVE ACT or to save its ideas without a computer.
