Kawai K1 II For Sale:

The Kawai K1 II is a digital synthesizer made in Japan in 1989. It is a particularly comfortable synthesizer for evolving pads, "industrial" sounds or acoustic instruments recreations. A 60-key keyboard with Aftertouch (modifies the volume parameters according to the force exerted on the keys). MIDI IN OUT THRU socket, modulation wheel and Pitch Bend wheel ... The synthesis principle used here is of the VM (voice modulation) type: Among 256 waveforms offered (204 synthetic waveforms + 54 waveforms sampled from real instruments). you can stack up to 4 different (waveforms) per sound, each of these 4 waveforms having its own Frequency, Waveform and Envelope settings. The Joystick can be used to modulate the volume distribution of the 4 source waveforms. With the Kawai K1 II and a few hours of experimentation, you will quickly get unique sounds that can mix acoustic and typical analog sounds. The Kawai K1 II has been and is used by artist like: Plaid, Ed Rush & Optical, Jean Michel Jarre, Legowelt, Drexciya...
